Personal Journey Coaching Contract, Terms and Conditions
My commitment to you is that I will always tell you what I believe you need to hear. I will offer a plan with a clear direction. I will make available to you the help you need to ensure your success.
- I promise to coach you with sound financial advice. If I do not feel confident in my information, I will direct you other sources.
- I do not, nor will I ever, provide you with any references that I don’t believe to be in your best interest.
- I promise to honor and respect your privacy. I will not share what we discuss with any other person without your specific recorded or written permission.
- Although we will speak about finances, I am not an Accountant, Attorney, or licensed Financial Advisor. Coaching is not therapy, legal or tax advice, or investment advice.
- The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowed by law. No personal information will be shared with anyone without the Client’s express permission. Exceptions may be made if there is an imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or someone else.
- By entering this relationship, the Client and Coach acknowledge that the Client desires to make a behavioral change or some type of improvement in his or her life. Behavioral change often takes time to implement and sustain. The pace of change is uncertain and varies amongst individuals.
- For the “Journey” monthly Coaching Package, the Client and Coach agree to a minimum of a 3-month relationship. If you wish to terminate the relationship prior to 3 months, at least 30 days advance notice is required for a full refund of remaining sessions. Payments are payable on the first day of the month. Payments must be made prior to coaching services being provided each month. Payments may be made by PayPal, Apple Pay or VENMO via my coaching Web site.
I expect and assume this commitment from you:
- You will take full responsibility for implementing your plan.
- You will take the action steps suggested to help you meet your goals.
- Your communication is crucial to the success of our sessions. You will be truthful and transparent with your thoughts, ideas, dreams, goals, and challenges.
- You will complete a number of action steps before each session to ensure our time together is best utilized. These steps may include answering a questionnaire, completing a worksheet, reading an article, having a discussion or reviewing a video. These tasks must be completed before your scheduled appointment.
- You assume all responsibility for providing accurate and complete materials, documentation and facts upon which our coaching may be based.
- You understand that refunds are not offered on individualized sessions. It’s very natural, and perfectly normal, that my clients get cold feet and nervous after the initial sign up. I know all of the awesomeness that is ahead for you and am ready to guide you to better money management. I appreciate honoring the original date and time of the appointment.
- The Coach and Client agree to adhere to established appointment times. I appreciate your commitment to this relationship.
Coaching sessions may occur through video conference, in person, by phone, or over email, depending on the venue that works best as determined together by the Coach and Client.
- The Coach and Client agree to begin and finish all appointments on time. If the Client is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the Coach will assume that the appointment is cancelled, and the Client will be responsible for the full coaching fee.
- If the Coach is more than 15 minutes late to an appointment, the Client may assume that the session is cancelled, and the Client shall not be responsible for any payment for that session.
- The Client agrees to cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, without a change fee.
- After the end of each session, the Coach will provide notes from the session to the Client. These notes may include steps, or action items, which may need to be taken by the Client to continue forward progress toward their goals (for example, completing a written budget).
- You are solely responsible for your actions, choices, and decisions.
Disclaimer: Financial coaching is designed to give you accurate and authoritative information with regard to the subject matter covered. It is provided with the understanding that the financial coach is not engaged to render legal, accounting or other professional advice. Since your situation is fact-dependent, you must additionally seek the services of an appropriately licensed legal, accounting or investment professional.
- By scheduling I agree to the terms and conditions outlined above
- By scheduling my session, I confirm that I do NOT have a business that contributes 50% or more of our household income.
